Why a Hero Film has no sound
A homepage hero and a social feed both autoplay muted. So the film is authored for silence rather than apologising for it.

Most vertical cuts are a widescreen edit with the sides chopped off. You can always tell. Here is what we do instead.

Most 9:16 cuts are a 16:9 edit with the sides chopped off. You can tell, because the headline runs off the frame and the product sits in a letterbox in the middle of the screen.
Every cutdown is rebuilt. The elements are the same, their arrangement is not. A two-column stat block becomes a stacked one. A wide screenshot is recaptured tall rather than resized. Type that fit on one line gets a line break written for it.
Because the film is code, each element can be swapped for its portrait counterpart at render time rather than nudged into place by hand. That is the difference between three deliverables and one deliverable exported three times.
Every Hero Film ships as 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1. All three are composed.
